Metamorphosis Disorders: Between Formation and Collapse

This series emerges as a mirror to a turbulent era—where the boundaries between stability and transformation, between identity and disintegration, dissolve into ambiguity. These are not merely abstract experiments, but visual cartographies that capture moments on the verge of becoming—or unraveling. The canvas becomes a dynamic arena where being is continuously reshaped and redefined.

The artworks convey a state of persistent uncertainty. Forms morph into gelatinous, organic masses—entwined, fragmented, and in flux—as if seeking to understand themselves within an unstable temporal field. Twisted lines, clashing colors, and oscillating spaces between fullness and void suggest a visual attempt to grasp the moment of rupture or dissolution.

In this context, transformation is not depicted as a singular event but as an existential condition. Here, metamorphosis is not a wound to be healed but a phenomenon to be embraced—a visual echo of contemporary life in its most volatile state. Each composition becomes a living document of disorder, not offering resolutions but opening pathways for multiple interpretations.

This body of work does not provide answers. Instead, it invites the viewer into a liminal space of questioning—about the nature of identity, time, and the personal trajectory in a world constantly shifting. It is a visual meditation on the fragility of permanence, suggesting that perhaps collapse—not stability—is the new architecture of existence.

This series presents fragmented visual elements—“units”—that operate as parts of a larger, ever-shifting body. Rather than seeking a fixed center, the compositions unravel open-ended narratives echoing psychological multiplicity and disrupted identity.

Each painting is built upon the tension between formal simplicity and conceptual complexity. Bold fields of color intersect with geometric and semi-linear signs, reminiscent of visual maps, elusive codes, or inner diagrams navigating the chaos of transformation.

This exhibition extends my previous project, “Metamorphosis Disorders,” evolving the inquiry into instability as a generative force. The abstract composition becomes a site of deconstruction, where forms shift, reform, and dissolve, mimicking the fluidity of the human condition in its ongoing negotiation with change.

Created during an international residency, these works are not only visual articulations—they are acts of inner reflection. They attempt to give form to the intangible, and to momentarily stabilize the unstable.
